myForzaGarage for Forza Motorsport 3 HELP CENTER
For any questions relating to this website that this help section cannot help you with, please post up or PM me in the myForzaGarage.com 'Feedback and Questions' forums (click here)

Q: What does this site do?
A: This site has lots of features.
There is an online, completely searchable car listing that supports multiple search terms (click here).
There is an online tuning/suspension calcualtor based off of feuerdog's v5 rev 4 calculations (click here).
You can add cars to a virtual garage (click here to view all the cars in the garage or click here to add a car) and once it is added, click on the 'my garage' link in the upper right hand portion of the site. When you are in 'your garage', you have the option to EDIT that cars current specs, add or change the installed parts, add your tuning settings, benchmark results and images anytime you want.
When adding parts, there is an option to allow people to see your parts and tune settings or not. Its your choice if you just want to have the details for your own reference or to share with the world.
There is also a link to create a signature based off that car. Below is a sample image based off one of my cars.

Q: Can you explain the options to HIDE MY BUILD DETAILS?
A: Ok, there are up to three ways to hide a build from people seeing them.
Any option you use will hide BOTH THE BUILD AND THE TUNE DETAILS FOR THAT CAR!
First, go into YOUR GARAGE and click [edit] for the car you want to hide build details.
Goto the bottom of the main car details and click the ADD OR CHANGE PARTS button.
Once you are in the PARTS SECTION, add or change parts on the car as normal and then, near the bottom of the options, there are up to three options you might see to hide this build.

1) PASSWORD PROTECT BUILD?
If you enter a password here, whenever someone looks at the build details they will be greeted with a password entry field.
If they enter it correctly, they will see the build.
     If not, they see nothing.

Only people you share the password with can see the details.
Share the password with fellow car club or garage members or if you want to share with close friends or if you want to sell an unlocked tune to a buyer. Its up to you!

2) IS IT OK TO SHOW BUILD AND TUNE TO ALL USERS?
Use this option if you don't wnat people to see the build and tune details.
Unlike the password option, when the user views the build details, they will see the car's basic spec (as always shown in the garage) plus the benchmarks for that car.
This is useful if you do want people to see the benchmarks for that car perhaps to gain interest in it for a possible sale on your StoreFront.

3) IS IT OK TO SHOW BUILD TO FELLOW 2O4F MEMBERS?
This option is only visible to the 2old4Forza clan members.
If you are in 2O4F you can use this option. If you are not, it is not there at all.
If you are in 2O4F, chosing this option will allow only 2O4F people to see the build and no one else.

IF YOU USE A PASSWORD, OPTIONS 2 & 3 still work as described above, but users will have to enter the password first.
Q: What about the TIME ATTACKS?
A: The main Time Attacks (click here) are a way for your to track your times in any car, in any class on any track. This is useful now that FM3 doesn't have LOCAL times anymore. You can now save all your times in different cars in the same class and track.
It isn't a competition, but when looking at the time attacks (click here) you can see everyone's times.
If you just want to see your own times, use the link in the upper right hand side of the site named 'my lap times' (click here)
Q: What about the TIME ATTACK EVENTS?
A: The TIME ATTACKS EVENTS(click here) will be special events hosted by MFG for fun and possibly prizes.
Stay tuned to the news on the main page of MFG and the TIME ATTACK EVENT section for new events as they become available.
Q: Can I host a TIME ATTACK EVENT here at MFG?
A: Absolutely! Just email me at myforzagarage@gmail.com with the details and we can work something out. The format is simple... state the car, class, track and whatever and that's really all. MFG will do the tracking for your event for you.
Q: What are the forums here for?
A: Since people come from different sites here, I wanted to offer a common place to post up. (click here)
Its not required and in reality it will be barely used, but it is there as an option.
For any questions relating to this website, please post up or PM me in the MFG Feedback and Questions forums.(click here)
The forums require a separate registration to better protect MFG's data.
If you would like a section create to host your garage, clan, club or whatever, contact me at myforzagarage@gmail.com requesting it with the details and reasons and I more than likely will set you up with that free of charge.
Q: What is FIDL3?
A: Forza Individual Drivers League is an ongoing league hosted by me (psybertech) over at GeezerGamers.com
It is a league for us old folks to get together and have fun!
There is a dedicated section here just for it, but in order to particapate you must be a memeber of GG and must signup over there in order to take part.
If you are over 25 and a registered member of GG, hop over to the Forza League forums (click here) and read up.
The league is in progress so you may not be able to join, but check it out!
Q: Are there any other leagues going on?
A: As of Jan 7th, 2010, only FIDL is ongoing.
I plan on hosting another league soon, so stay tuned to the MFG news page or calendar for more info!
(click here for the news page)
Q: I hear there are hidden sections here, is that true?
A: Yes. Its true. I am a member of 2OLD2PLAY and its 2OLD4FORZA car club. I created a special section for the clans' members that is only visible to approved members.
That is the only hidden section for now, but in the future, depending on the needs of the site or its members, I might create a similar section.
Q: Do you accept donations?
A: I don't pressure people for them nor do I have a target, but if you feel like throwing a few dollars my way for the server costs and/or my time, I sure as heck won't say NO!
I do this site for myself and Forza fans everywhere and it takes a great deal of time so if you do donate, I do thank you!

WHEN YOU CLICK DONATE YOU WILL GO TO PAYPAL'S WEBSITE.
ONCE THERE, ENTER THE AMOUNT YOU WISH TO DONATE

Q: Is that all?
A: For now, that is all I can think about, but as I notice problems or get questions about something, I will post them up here.
